I’m looking for a dive placement within the Dominican Republic to take me through to become a Dive Instructor. I fell in love with Diving a few years ago when I took my first Dive in Thailand. From there I completed my Open Water and continued to Dive through SE Asia, Egypt and Australia. I began my Advanced qualification but unfortunately had to return to the UK due to family circumstances at that time. I want to take up diving more seriously as my career. From the moment I took my first breath under water I knew I’d found my passion and one true love in life, and has been my desire to make diving my life. The tranquil and serene surroundings of another world have fascinated me since. I’ve spent some time in Dominican in Bayahibe and want to come back to the country to complete the course to Dive Instructor. Ideally I’m looking to do this on a placement from Advanced to Instructor and in a position to come back to DR asap to take up an a placement opportunity.

On top of my love for Diving, I also have 8 years back-to-back Sales, Marketing & PR experience which would be highly valuable on site, in resort, in Dive shop to gain customer attention and commitment. As a self reliant, tenacious and highly motivated individual I have gained sound knowledge and experience of team management, communication, budget management, product development, customer needs and the decision making process in order to achieve desired results. As a highly successful Sales & marketing person I have continually pulled through new initiatives and creatively implemented new projects and strategies to increase awareness, profitability and delivery of the companies I’ve worked with across the world in the UK, Australia & Thailand. I am an ambitious positive and enthusiastic individual who is highly competent in engaging and networking with a diverse range of people, pushing the boundaries of comfort zones and being immersed in new challenges, culture shocks and risks.
